Governors

Governors have general responsibility for the effective management of the school, operating within a framework of national legislation and the policies of the local education authority and Academy Trust. The South Camberley Local Advisory Committee (L.A.C) play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the school and challenging the school leaders to make sure every child 'excels'.

Governors meet regularly and include parents, staff and community representatives. The Governing body is made up of 7 Governors and represents a wide and varied skill set.

Governors meet a minimum of twice a term to ensure the requirements of the Academy Trust are met, however much more time is given for the benefit of the school.

The Co-Chairs of Governors are Mr Mirek Gliniecki and Mrs Thora Ray who can be contacted via the school office, schooloffice@southcamberley.surrey.sch.uk.
