On Thursday 30th March Year 2 at The Orchard performed their Music Festival songs to parents. The singing was fabulous led by Mrs Summers with Mrs Russell on the keyboard. All the songs were from well known films which both the children and audience loved!
Red Class had a fun Autumn walk around The Orchard.
We loved walking in the crunchy leaves which were all beautiful colours like bright orange, vivid red, gold and dark yellow. We found fir cones and acorns which we used to inspire our Autumn poems.
Although best of all was playing in the leaves!
We had a special day to celebrate our topic of China. The children wore Chinese outfits or the lucky colour red. It must have worked because they were very lucky to have a wonderful session learning ribbon dancing! In addition the children made scrumptious moon cakes and a very healthy stir fry. The chopsticks and seaweed proved to be very popular too!
